
Silken Tofu Side Dish
A quick and flavorful silken tofu dish topped with a rich garlic-soy sauce. Perfect as an appetizer or side dish with rice or noodles.

- 11.Infuse oil with garlic. Start stove on very low heat, add oil, garlic, and a little salt. Leave on low for 3-5 minutes or until garlic is fragrant.
- 22.While waiting, open silken tofu package and place in a bowl.
- 33.Microwave on high for 2-3 minutes until thoroughly heated.
- 44.Check if garlic oil is fragrant and turn heat to medium low if so. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
- 55.Add soy sauce, sugar, white part of green onions and mix until well combined.
- 66.Let simmer for 1-2 minutes. Taste and adjust seasonings. If the flavor is too strong, add 1/2-1 tbsp water, but keep in mind not to dilute too much if you are eating with something bland, such as rice or plain noodles.
- 77.Pour over tofu and garnish with lots of green onions and if you like something spicy, chili oil.
